Butterfly Pavilion Rainforest Yoga

Experience a rejuvenating yoga class in our tropical rainforest. Led by one of our rotating instructors, classes provide an amazing opportunity to transcend the hustle and bustle of daily life as you practice amongst the butterflies in our conservatory.

Refunds/Transfers: If you are no longer able to attend, please contact Butterfly Pavilion 48 hours before your class and you will be given the option to transfer your registration to a different date. No refunds are given once the class has been purchased, unless Butterfly Pavilion cancels the class for any reason.  No transfers will be allowed after the class has ended if the participant is unable to attend.

Baby Bugs: Do all baby bugs have the same life cycle? Do all baby bugs look the same? Come spend the day with us as we explore the world of baby bugs and discover how they survive in the wild!

 

General Admission Timed Entry Tickets

Butterfly Pavilion will be closed 2/6/23 - 2/10/23 and will reopen to the public 2/11/23 at 9:00am.

Tickets only valid for the date and time selected. Tickets are non-refundable.

Please maintain social distance and limit your visit to 80 minutes and exit the facility.

Guests should check in within the half-hour following their timed entry with the exception of 4:00 p.m. tickets.

Front Doors lock at 4:15 p.m.

Tickets must be reserved for children under 2.

 

EBT/SNAP recipients can receive discounted tickets by showing their card to the front desk when purchasing tickets. EBT/SNAP discounts are not available online.

Habitat Gardening Bootcamp 2023

This course is designed to be a comprehensive start-to-finish workshop in conjunction with the seasons. Workshops are taught by Ashley White, avid wildlife gardener and Community Habitats Manager at Butterfly Pavilion, and guest starring Amy Yarger, leader in pollinator habitat development and Horticulture Director at Butterfly Pavilion. You ll work alongside Ashley, Amy and other learning gardeners to protect pollinators and develop the know-how needed to design, install, and maintain a pollinator-friendly garden!

Cost:

Member: $300 for entire package

Non-member: $350 for entire package

Homeschool Day

 

Homeschoolers and your families, these days are reserved especially for you! Take advantage of these exciting opportunities to explore our engaging exhibits and interact with thousands of invertebrates, all without the crowds! Each Homeschool Day incorporates themed activities great for all ages. These include various invertebrate investigations, talks with real scientists, fun crafts, and more.

 

Macro Photography 2023

Whether you’re a paparazzi or can’t figure out your camera, phone, join expert photographer Bob Krugmire for hands-on instruction that will teach you to maximize the potential of your camera! Leave with better skills, knowledge, and tons of fantastic close-up shots.  Space is limited!  Pre-registration and pre-payment are required.

Sensory Friendly Afternoons at Butterfly Pavilion

Here at Butterfly Pavilion, we know that things can get pretty hectic with busy butterflies, bees and bodies buzzing around during the day. Join us for a low-sensory morning before we open to the public that meets the needs of families that need to experience the Pavilion in a different way. With natural lighting, quiet tones, and limited admission – this experience offers your little one an enjoyable, low-key experience just for them. Each Sensory Friendly Afternoon offers guided interpretation in each exhibit, optional activity guides, and an interactive Storytime program.
