Experience a rejuvenating yoga class in our tropical rainforest. Led by one of our rotating instructors, classes provide an amazing opportunity to transcend the hustle and bustle of daily life as you practice amongst the butterflies in our conservatory.

Refunds/Transfers: If you are no longer able to attend, please contact Butterfly Pavilion 48 hours before your class and you will be given the option to transfer your registration to a different date. No refunds are given once the class has been purchased, unless Butterfly Pavilion cancels the class for any reason.  No transfers will be allowed after the class has ended if the participant is unable to attend. 

Design your own pollinator garden, move like a butterfly, and get started on your Girl Scout adventure! Families will move through stations to learn more about bugs, their habitats, and about Girl Scouting. This event is for Pre-K, kindergarten, and first grade girls that are not yet Girl Scouts - but totally should be!

Tickets only valid for the date and time selected. Tickets are non-refundable.

Please maintain social distance and limit your visit to 80 minutes and exit the facility.

Guests should check in within the half-hour following their timed entry with the exception of 4:00 p.m. tickets.

Front Doors lock at 4:15 p.m.

Tickets must be reserved for children under 2.

EBT/SNAP recipients can receive discounted tickets by showing their card to the front desk when purchasing tickets. EBT/SNAP discounts are not available online.

Whether you’re a paparazzi or can’t figure out your camera, phone, join expert photographer Bob Krugmire for hands-on instruction that will teach you to maximize the potential of your camera! Leave with better skills, knowledge, and tons of fantastic close-up shots.  Space is limited!  Pre-registration and pre-payment are required.

Junior Zookeeper: Immerse yourself in the world of a zookeeper and experience what they do every day here at Butterfly Pavilion!

Nature Explorers: Explore nature from a bug's perspective and have hands-on engaging and educational experiences with nature in our gardens!

*Nature Explorers will be help predominantly outside in the gardens around Butterfly Pavilion, Big Dry Creek Open Space, and Westminster City Park*

Aquatic Adventures: Explore the world of aquatic animals and aquatic ecosystems in this adventure filled camp!

If you've gotten your beehive through its first winter in Colorado, congratulations! You're about to have a second year hive! With a second year hive comes all new adventures in beekeeping, one of the most important of which is swarming. When a colony swarms, not only does a beekeeper lose their valuable experienced queen, but other issues such as a failure to produce a new queen or swarms moving into dangerous locations can occur. It is in a beekeeper s best interest to learn how to artificially create a  swarm  by doing a split to prevent their bees from becoming a community nuisance. It is also beneficial for new beekeepers to learn about swarm behavior and how they can get themselves free bees by becoming a swarm catcher.

In this workshop, we'll learn all about swarms, including signs that a colony is going to swarm, how to prevent your hive from swarming, how to make more hives by making splits, and basic swarm catching techniques. The workshop will start with a classroom lesson then move to Butterfly Pavilion's on-site apiary for a demonstration of how to split a hive.
